Learn about the class-leading Integrity Management Systems for Tanks and Piping of Inventure and start collecting its benefits today
Not ‘Is it acceptable’, but ‘How long will an asset remain acceptable?’. Insight into the asset and understanding its behaviour are key to answer this question. And in this process it will reveal all kinds of key information that will allow the asset owner to make the right, conscious choices to optimize operational availability in a cost-effective way.
Being able to make choices does not start with inspection. At Inventure we strongly underline that inspections are not dutiful; they are purposeful! The information that is needed to make these choices requires certain data. That requirement is translated into an inspection plan; never the other way around.
With Inventure, asset decisions are made based on accepted, standardized processes following evidence, structure and engineering logic that stimulate predictable outcomes.
Inventure Integrity Management Systems does not just look at the available data, but at the entire asset: how it is designed, how it is used and what specific data is needed to ensure maximum operational availability.
Every decision follows a technical ‘cause-and-effect’ process based on Inventure’s famous 5-step methodology, ensuring there are no loose ends.
Our practice is built on broad hands-on experience in tank and piping maintenance and inspection. By tank integrity managers, for tank integrity managers. This results in a system that has been leading in the industry for over 15 years.
Inventure delivers a complete integrity management ecosystem for tanks and piping, with IMS/T for tanks and IMS/P for piping. It moves beyond traditional assessment thinking to deliver predictability, insight, and control by focusing on one essential question: how long will an asset’s condition remain safe and acceptable?
The associated insights provide conscious choices and options in various scenarios to optimize operational availability.
Major upgrades of our IMS/T and IMS/P SaaS products; the new IMS unifies methodology with software RBIT360, embedding the IMS/T & IMS/P customized methodology (aligned with the relevant guidelines) directly into the platform.
Inventure provides training in Integrity Management at various levels. We follow the four stages of learning:
5 days
Inventure is an official trainer on behalf of EEMUA. The EEMUA 159 Tank Integrity Manager course is designed for personnel engaged in managing the integrity of a storage tank facility. An integrity manager is required to make decisions, or at the very least provide guidance, which could potentially have a significant impact on expenditure or asset availability. Having an integrity management system can assist the manager in guiding these decisions and justifying actions.
2 hrs
This is a short introduction to asset integrity for storage tanks and piping. It briefly touches on why you would want to set up an asset integrity system and what it could bring you. It sheds some light on the dos and don’ts, where to begin and how much time and effort is involved. The awareness session is free of charge and can take place on site or via an online meeting.
This E-learning TIMS (Tank Integrity Management System) was developed by Inventure in order to support the TIMS Subscription. It guides the learner through the 5 steps of setting up such a system and puts certain aspects into perspective. The TIMS methodology of these 5 steps is based on 20+ years of experience in implementing such systems in this field.
This E-learning “Corrosion” was developed by Inventure’s Corrosion Engineer, who graduated from TU Delft as a metallurgist. With over a decade of experience in maintenance & inspection in the petrochemical industry, she shares her knowledge in this very accessible and informative e-learning about various corrosion mechanisms. Morphology, formation, critical locations and risks will be addressed for various mechanisms. This provides fundamental knowledge for any person or company that is attempting to set up a sound Integrity Management System.

This training is the extended ‘live’ version of the TIMS E-learning. It is one full day face-to-face.
Tank Assessment Training using RBIT360
5 days
The Tank Assessment Training using RBIT360 is a training designed to teach new users how to perform a tank assessment in RBIT360 according to their customized handbook. The training is divided into theory in the mornings and practical work using RBIT360 in the afternoons. The last day will include review sessions where the practical work will be discussed.
Our specialists support implementation, review your setup and keep your system accurate, compliant and up to date.
When new inspections and/or repair/modification and/or operational changes occur, the new data is processed and assessed in RBIT 360°. The amount of work required for the next year(s), including inspection, maintenance and the required actualisation work, is presented in RBIT 360°.
When specific parts exceed degradation limits, and repair is inconvenient or unwanted, an escalation assessment can be executed. Most criteria in EEMUA and API are conservative to a certain extent to allow a uniform approach. An escalation assessment is a more detailed study or engineering calculation on that specific part. An escalation assessment can also function in the opposite direction: a detailed study that proves that less inspection can be allowed.
A tank assessment consists of the following activities: Tank definition (collecting documentation, entering parameters from technical drawings and operational documentation, configuring the tank in RBIT 360°). Tank Assessment (review inspection and repair reports and analyse data, set degradation limits, perform a risk assessment, prepare a tank strategy plan, plan activities). Review (quality control, review with tank owner).
Clarity, compliance and continuous improvement. Our specialists support implementation, review your setup and keep your system accurate, compliant and up to date.
